Description

***DISCONTINUED, REPLACED WITH CAT. NO. 250948***

This antibody recognizes the CD15 antigen, also known as Lewis X (LeX), which is expressed on neutrophils, eosinophils and monocytes. CD15 is also present in embryonic tissues, adenocarcinomas, myeloid leukemias and Reed-Sternberg cells. The antibody does not cross react with sialylated forms of CD15. The antibody can be used for detecting CD15 in immunohistocytology with frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections, for ELISA and to mediate complement activation.
