Description

This antibody recognizes the CD25 antigen, the IL-2 receptor alpha chain, which is expressed on activated cells such as activated T-cells, B-cells and monocytes.  CD25 is associated with CD122 and CD132 (gamma chain) to form the IL-2 receptor complex. This antibody specifically recognizes the region C epitope within CD25. The antibody can be used for detecting CD25 in flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and in immunohistocytology with frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Application Notes

FACS with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 10 μl antibody

FACS with cells: 500,000 cells in 50 μl + 10 μl antibody

This antibody recognizes the CD25 antigen, the alpha chain of the IL2 receptor complex. In flow cytometry, the antibody stains less than 5% of unactivated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
