Description

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17 (CD269) is a receptor for TNFSF13B/BLyS/BAFF and TNFSF13/APRIL. CD269 promotes B-cell survival and plays a role in the regulation of humoral immunity. CD269 activates NF-kappa-B and JNK. A chromosomal aberration involving CD269 is found in a form of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL).
