Description

This antibody recognizes the CD4 antigen on human helper/inducer T-cells.  CD4 is the primary cellular receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The antibody can be used for detecting CD4 in flow cytometry, frozen tissue sections and immunoprecipitation.

Application Notes

FACS with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 10 μl antibody

FACS with cells: 500,000 cells in 50 μl + 10 μl antibody

This antibody recognizes the CD4 antigen on human helper/inducer T-cells. In flow cytometry, the antibody stains 60-90% of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells and a small percentage of monocytes with a weaker signal.
