Description

This antibody recognizes the CD71 antigen, the transferrin receptor, which is an activation marker on T, B and NK cells. The CD71 expression level is very low on resting leukocytes, possibly reflecting the iron dependence of proliferation. The antibody can be used for detecting CD71 in flow cytometry and in immunohistocytology with paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
