Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.

This antibody is an isotype control for IgG2a immunoglobulins. The antibody can be used as a negative control in flow cytometry.

FACS with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 10 μl antibody

FACS with cells: 500,000 cells in 50 μl + 10 μl antibody

This antibody recognizes keyhole lymphocyte hemocyanin (KLH). In flow cytometry, the antibody stains <5% of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
