Description

The HEV antibody recognizes several putative Hepatitis E virus proteins including protein ORF3 (pORF3), the immunogenic protein from the viral capsid and structural proteins. pORF3 is a viral regulatory protein involved in mitogenic signaling pathways, virion morphogenesis, viral pathogenesis as well as in the processing and secretion of AMBP from the hepatocyte.
