Description 
Interferon-alpha (IFN-alpha) is produced by macrophages in three forms: alpha-2a, alpha-2b and alpha-2c. This cytokine has antiviral and antiproliferative properties that explain its use as anticancer drug (Roferon-A, Roche and Intron-A, Schering-Plough). This antibody recognizes human IFN alpha-2a and alpha-2b in ELISA.
