Reverse Protein Array
Abbiotec offers over 10,000 lysates from 293 cells transfected with a plasmid coding for one of the 25,000 proteins from the human genome. The lysate is prepared from HEK293T cells transiently transfected with a TrueORF gene-carrying pCMV plasmid (OriGene Technologies, Inc.) and then lysed in RIPA Buffer. The human full-length protein carries a C-terminal Myc/DDK tag for detection. The TACL™ product line is used as a positive control in Western blot and immunoprecipitation, an ELISA standard and for reverse protein arrays. Each product includes a vector-only transfection lysate as negative control.
