BMPR1A Peptide

$50.00
SKU: 350513
Upon ligand binding, BMPR1A forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane Ser/Thr kinases. The type I receptors are activated by the type II receptors by using a phosphorylation mechanism, and subsequently bind SMAD transcriptional regulators. Defects in BMPR1A are the cause of juvenile polyposis syndrome, Cowden disease and hereditary mixed polyposis syndrome 2, which lead to gastrointestinal, breast, thyroid, endometrial and colon cancers.

E-cadherin Peptide

$50.00
SKU: 350496
Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells. E-cadherin (CDH1) is involved in mechanisms regulating cell-cell adhesion, mobility and proliferation of epithelial cells. CDH1 has a potent invasive suppressor role. CDH1 binds to integrin alpha-E/beta-7. Defects in CDH1 are the cause of gastric, endometrial, breast, ovary and thyroid cancers. This antibody may cross-react with cadherin-2, 3 and 4.

INSR Peptide

$50.00
SKU: 350472
INSR binds insulin and has a tyrosine protein kinase activity. The short isoform has a higher affinity for insulin. The receptor mediates the metabolic functions of insulin. The receptor binding to insulin stimulates association of the receptor with downstream mediators including IRS1 and phosphatidylinositol 3'-kinase (PI3K). Defects in INSR are the cause of insulin resistance.
