TNF-alpha (4F11) Antibody
Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) is a cytokine produced by activated monocytes and macrophages. TNF-a stimulates inflammation and can act directly as an inducer of apoptosis. It mediates many of the systemic acute phase responses but can also cause septic shock in patients with serious infections. Human TNF-a is a 17.4 kDa protein containing 157 amino acid residues. This antibody is specific for human TNF-alpha.
